Brazos Bend State Park extends closure through at least June 21 (Fort Bend Star)

Brazos Bend State Park staff extended the park’s closure to public use because of flooding through at least June 21.

“During this flooding event, the Brazos River reached a cresting height of 52.55 feet at the FM 1462 gauge in Rosharon,” Park Superintendent Chris Bishop said. “This is the highest reading at this gauge since the park opened in 1984.”
