Born in the Bronx, New York to poor, drug-addicted parents, both of whom later died of AIDS, Liz Murray was homeless for a time. Despite these challenges, she graduated from Harvard University and has authored the book “Breaking Night: A Memoir of Forgiveness, Survival and My Journey from Homeless to Harvard”. She will share her story at Interfaith Community Clinic’s Women Empowering Women Luncheon, hosted Friday at The Westin The Woodlands.
