Economist: No need to worry about Houston’s housing market … yet (HBJ)

The oil slump is finally taking its toll on the Houston housing market, more than a year after crude oil prices started plummeting to 12-year lows.

Homes aren’t selling as quickly and fetching as much as they used to. Instead, they’re sitting on the market for longer, according to local and national housing reports.
