Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport lands yet another nonstop international flight (HBJ)

Houston’s newest international flight touched down at George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Dec. 15 and was welcomed by a traditional New Zealand-style kapa haka performance.

The landing marks the start of Air New Zealand’s previously announced nonstop route between IAH and Auckland Airport, which will run five days a week. The flight left New Zealand at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 15 local time and arrived in Houston around 1:15 p.m. Dec. 15 Central Time. The return flight will depart Houston at 8:25 p.m. Central Time and will arrive in Auckland at 5:55 a.m. Dec. 17 local time.
