Evidence mounted Wednesday that crude oil’s stubborn slump is chilling the economy, with local Realtors reporting the most severe back-to-back declines in home sales in four years and the Texas Comptroller’s Office announcing that a statewide dip in sales tax revenue was most pronounced in regions dominated by the energy industry.
