Montgomery County holds meetings on road plan (Houston Chronicle)

Montgomery County leaders will host a series of public meetings on the latest long-range plan for developing new and improved roadways in the rapidly growing area.

The thoroughfare plan is a product of a partnership between the fast-growing suburban county and the Houston-Galveston Area Council, a regional planning body. The $50,000 study – the first update to the road plan since 2012 – analyzes traffic volumes, accident data and county trends across the county.
