Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to receive additional $4 million for 2016 (The Villager)

After receiving a $3.6 million increase from county commissioners last year, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office budget is expected to grow by another $4 million in 2016.

Sheriff Tommy Gage initially asked for an additional $5.7 million to the roughly $54 million budget. The county auditor’s office, however, chopped the request down to about $1.7 million.
