Texas home prices could retreat with oil slowdown (Houston Chronicle)

Are Houston’s ever-rising housing prices ready to come down with the price of oil?

Maybe so, according to the spring Housing and Mortgage Market Review released by Arch Mortgage Insurance Co.

The Arch MI Risk Index, which predicts the likelihood of an area’s home prices being lower over the course of two years, identified Texas, North Dakota and Oklahoma as states with a moderate risk of prices going lower.
