Embattled lawsuit over Montgomery County land permits continues in federal court (The Villager)

A lawsuit accusing Montgomery County of violating a local wastewater injection company’s substantive due process and equal protection rights is under consideration by a federal appeals court after a district court dismissed the company’s claims last year.

TexCom Gulf Disposal LLC filed a lawsuit in September 2013 claiming county commissioners violated the company’s rights by requiring TexCom to apply for a new driveway permit after purchasing an additional 3.5 acres of land on FM 3083.
