$350M road bond set for May 9 election — $105M for Precinct 3 with Woodlands Parkway extension (The Villager)

Montgomery County Commissioners approved a $350 million road bond referendum Monday morning that will include the controversial project to extend Woodlands Parkway to Texas 249.

The bond will not require a tax increase and was approved unanimously. The information was presented to the commissioners by the Montgomery County Road Bond Committee. The $350 million bond will be divided between the precincts with precincts 1 and 2 receiving $80 million, Precinct 3 will get $105 million and Precinct 4 will receive $85 million.
