Houston City Council delays vote around Uber and Lyft (HBJ)

Once again, the Houston City Council voted July 30 to delay the long-awaited ruling on the vehicles-for-hire ordinances surrounding Uber, Lyft and taxi companies for at least another week.

City Council delayed the vote, in part, to give council members the opportunity to review new amendments as well as changes to the original ordinance.
