Officials with Whole Foods say they have a surprise in store for Woodlands-area shoppers, as executives and area representatives gathered for an official groundbreaking ceremony at Hughes Landing Monday afternoon.
While executive marketing coordinator Laura Zappi couldn’t give specifics on what the group might have up its sleeves for its 40,000-square-foot store, which would be open in 2015 near the intersection of Lake Woodlands Drive and Lake Front Circle, but said each location offers unique features for its communities. The recently opened Champions store on Louetta Road offers char-grilled chicken and a wood-burning oven, and Zappi said the company is excited to offer shoppers a new experience.
