Pasadena redistricting process draws questions from council (The Pasadena Citizen)

Pasadena voters approved a charter amendment last November that would reduce the number of single-member districts from eight to six and add two at-large positions. The change requires new district maps be approved within six months of the election outcome according to documents posted on the city’s website. With the deadline looming, Mayor Johnny Isbell has yet to say how the new maps will be decided or if the council will have any input.
